Get in touchThe owner of a 2019 Grand Design Momentum 328M contacted us with a soft floor issue caused by water damage. The linoleum was carefully cut along the perimeter and rolled back to preserve its condition. Upon removing the covering, we found that the OSB subfloor had delaminated. At the time of repair, the surface was dry and clean, with no signs of black mold, indicating the damage was likely short-term.
The damaged OSB subfloor was completely removed and replaced with a single sheet of thick, durable plywood for maximum strength and longevity. The linoleum was put back in place, adhered along the edges, and the carpet was stapled down. The perimeter was neatly sealed with silicone. At the customer’s request, we installed a “silicone baseboard” — a continuous waterproof bead along the base of the walls instead of traditional trim.
