Roof recoating, and resealing with plumbing vent replacement and accessory installation

Before the project began, the roof of the Salem trailer showed visible wear: dirt buildup, discoloration, cracked sealant, and aged membrane areas. Several vent components and roof penetrations required attention or replacement. The customer also requested the removal of an old TV antenna that was no longer in use.

We thoroughly washed the entire roof using a high-pressure washer and then applied specialized cleaning agents to remove all contaminants and prepare the membrane. After cleaning, we applied a membrane-activating primer, which was later rinsed off according to the manufacturer’s requirements. We then applied multiple layers of professional roof coating using Dicor materials, providing strong adhesion and long-lasting membrane protection.

All roof components — vent caps, fans, skylights, and vent channels — were fully cleaned, and all old cracked sealant was removed. After preparation, we applied new high-quality Dicor sealant on every seam and connection point. Several worn or damaged vent channels were replaced.

Per the customer’s request, we removed the old TV antenna. A clean, fully sealed Dicor patch was installed in its place. The upper section of the slide-out was also fully resealed.

After completion, the roof received a fully renewed appearance. The membrane is now clean, smooth, and protected with fresh layers of Dicor coating. All components were resealed, damaged elements replaced, and the former TV antenna location was cleanly patched and sealed. The roof is now well-protected from moisture, UV exposure, and aging. The top section of the slide-out was also professionally resealed. The overall appearance of the Salem trailer is noticeably improved.
