Awning Reinstallation And Slide Out Sync

The customer called to report that the awnings above the slide-outs had been installed incorrectly. Upon arrival, we found that the installation, performed by another company, was incorrect: the awning fabric had been mounted upside down. The rough reinforced side with texture was facing up, while the smooth side was facing down. This is a mistake, as the smooth side is UV-stabilized, allows water to run off more easily, and prevents dirt buildup. It should face outward.

We removed and reinstalled both awnings above the slide-outs, ensuring the smooth UV-stabilized side faces outward. Additionally, we calibrated the slide-out mechanism: the two motors were out of sync, causing the slide to not retract at all, becoming skewed and jammed. We reset the synchronization controller (Dual Motor Synchronous Velocity Slide Controller), which restored simultaneous motor operation and returned the mechanism to normal function.
