Awning fabric was replaced and the spring repaired to ensure proper function, durability, and a refreshed appearance
Get in touchThe customer contacted us due to water leaks around the slide-outs. One slide-out had no awning at all — the fabric had completely deteriorated and was missing. The second slide-out awning was in very poor condition: the fabric was torn, full of holes, and extremely brittle. As a result, water was getting onto the slide-out roofs, causing leaks and operational issues. We removed the remains of the old awnings and discovered a large amount of compacted debris inside the mechanisms — dirt, leaves, nuts, and organic material compressed to a rock-like hardness. This buildup was most likely the cause of the leaks and the slide-outs not sealing properly. We thoroughly cleaned all areas, removed all debris, serviced the slide-out mechanisms, and addressed spring-related issues. One spring was repaired, and both springs were re-tensioned and adjusted. After servicing, we installed new high-quality vinyl awning fabric on both slide-outs.

After completion, both slide-outs received new awning fabric made from durable vinyl material. The mechanisms now operate smoothly, the slide-outs seal properly, and the water intrusion issue has been resolved. Both the appearance and functionality of the slide-outs were significantly improved, and the customer was very satisfied with the results.
